A romantic elopement on the Amalfi Coast
Emily and Engin celebrated their intimate and very romantic elopement on the Amalfi Coast. Like all real elopements, there was just the two of them. Nevertheless, I ended up working hard just like any other wedding since they were so expansive, giving me so many chances to shoot. They had rent a small villa all to themselves with stunning views over the sea and the Amalfi Coast. After a brief ceremony followed by the cake cutting, we went around in some towns in the nearby, stopping here and there at gorgeous viewpoints to take pictures.
First of all, they wanted to go to a nearby old abbey to have some photos taken, which turned out to be quite a great idea due to the mystic atmosphere typical of these places. We then moved on with our main plan to go outdoor and take advantage of the sunset light. The middle October afternoon light was warm and just beautiful, and there were stunning views all around us. Finally, we arrived at the church of San Pancrazio, another mystic place. By the time we got there, the whole area was wrapped in fantastic light of sunset. Everything turned out just as they’d hoped, and they were so happy that they couldn’t ask more for their romantic elopement.
Guido did an exceptional job capturing the moments of our Elopement on the Amalfi Coast! The photos tell the beautiful story of that day. He was easy to contact and responded quickly. We recommend him!
