Frequently Asked Questions
Here you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions couples have when choosing a photography package. If anything remains unclear, I’m always happy to discuss your plans in more detail.
How do I choose the right coverage duration for my wedding?
Coverage depends on how much of the day you’d like documented, from preparation to the reception. Most couples choose coverage that includes key moments such as getting ready, the ceremony, portraits, and part or all of the reception. If you’re unsure, I’m happy to help you evaluate your timeline and suggest a suitable option.
What’s included in your editing and post-production process?
All delivered images are carefully selected and professionally edited in my signature true-to-tone, film-inspired style. This includes color correction, black and white conversions where appropriate, and overall refinement to ensure a cohesive and timeless final gallery. Advanced retouching requests can be discussed separately if needed.
Do I need a second photographer?
In most cases, a second photographer is not necessary. I regularly cover weddings of different sizes on my own without missing key moments. However, some couples choose to add a second photographer for specific logistical reasons or personal preference, and this can be discussed during the quote stage.
Can you help with timeline planning and logistics?
Yes. Guidance on timing and logistics related to photography is included in all wedding packages, with more in-depth support available in higher-tier collections. This ensures your day flows naturally while making the most of the available light and locations.
Do you recommend or work with videographers?
While I focus exclusively on photography, I regularly collaborate with trusted videographers and can recommend professionals whose approach aligns well with my work. This helps ensure a smooth and cohesive experience on the wedding day.
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book between 9 and 18 months in advance, especially for peak dates. That said, availability can vary, so it’s always worth getting in touch as soon as your date is confirmed.
What are the payment terms?
A retainer is required to secure the date, with the remaining balance due before the wedding. Full details are outlined clearly in the contract and shared before any commitment is made.
