The eye should learn to listen before it looks
Robert Frank
When I'm between wedding seasons, you'll likely find me deep in the wilderness with camera in hand. I'm utterly fascinated by nature's intricate details and the way light transforms places throughout the day. Each landscape image is the result of long and careful planning - I spend time scouting locations and consulting maps, to find the ideal vantage point. Then it's a waiting game to clock the optimal light direction and colors. Just as with weddings, I work to tell visual stories through my landscape photos. While incredibly challenging due to unpredictable weather and needing everything to align just right, landscape photography is extremely rewarding. I love being surrounded by nature's beauty and tapping into a sense of calm through studying its subtle wonders. Connecting to the land gives me great perspective and endless inspiration for my creative work.
